Mr. Miya Mamun
Chairman
Mr. Miya Mamun is a Japanese entrepreneur and business executive based in Chiba, Japan. He currently serves as the Chairman of Emerald Oil Industries Limited and Minori Bangladesh Limited, and as the Managing Director of Fu-Wang Foods Limited. Mr. Mamun is a diversified entrepreneur with approximately 19 years of business experience in the production and processing of organic foods in Japan. As a successful entrepreneur, he has expanded his business activities into Bangladesh with the aim of contributing to the development of the country’s local agro-economy. He introduced Minori Bangladesh Limited to Bangladesh with the objective of supporting local agro-based resources and improving product quality through the application of Japanese technology, expertise, and modern agricultural practices. Graduate from Chittagong University he completed his study in Tokyo, Japan at the end of 2008. He is a renowned entrepreneur with extensive experience in Japan’s agriculture and food-processing sector.

Mr. Mohammad Murad Hossan
Director
Mohammad Murad Hossan, Director (Nominated by Minori Bangladesh Ltd.) of the Company. He completed his Master of Business Administration from Stamford University of Bangladesh. He has work experience of more than 14 years in the Banking and Financial sector, collection department, and managing a big portfolio amounting to 100 crores. Besides that, he has more than two years of experience working in the Human Resource Management department.

Mirza Rashed Nawaz is a seasoned professional and accomplished leader, currently serving as a Director at Emerald Oil Industries Limited. Appointed to the Board on August 22, 2026. With a robust background in business strategy and a proven track record in B2B engagement, Mr. Nawaz brings valuable insights to the organization’s growth and governance. Prior to his directorship, Mr. Nawaz excelled as a Relationship Manager at Guardian Life Insurance Limited, where he honed his skills in client relationship management and strategic business development. Currently, he is the Business Development Lead at Waadaa Insure, a key division of MGH Group, where he continues to drive impactful collaborations and innovative solutions. Mr. Nawaz began his career in 2007 after earning an MBA in Marketing from the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). Starting as an Executive at BTR Freight System Limited, he laid the foundation for a distinguished career in business leadership, consistently demonstrating expertise in fostering growth and building strategic partnerships.
Ms. Quazi Shabnom, FCS

As a Fellow Chartered Secretary (FCS) with over 10 years of experience and specialize in corporate governance, board advisory, company secretarial practice, statutory compliance, corporate law, shareholder governance, and regulatory affairs. Ms. Shabnom experience includes advising listed and private companies on BSEC compliance, board documentation, AGM scrutinizing, e-voting, governance reviews, legal due diligence, corporate reporting, and governance-sensitive matters that require precision, confidentiality, and sound professional judgment. Currently, Ms. Shabnom serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Quazi Sabnam & Associates, where she lead an independent professional firm providing governance advisory, corporate legal support, compliance management, and company secretarial services. Beyond the professional practice, Ms. Shabnom actively contribute to advancing the governance profession as a member of the International Relations Sub-Committee of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). Through international collaboration, professional engagement, and continuous learning, I remain committed to promoting global governance standards and board excellence.
Ms. Pervin Akter, FCMA

Ms. Pervin Akter FCMA is a Qualified Cost and Management Accountant having long 16 (Sixteen) years professional experiences in different organizations. She was inducted into the Board as Independent Director of Emerald Oil Industries Limited. She is the Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountant of Bangladesh (ICMAB). Apart from that she has attended various Training of the National and International and visited many countries. She is an expertise of formulated and implemented policies, strategy, procedures for earn distinct business goal and versatile knowledge about cost analysis, financial reporting etc.
Md. Ashraful Alam
Managing Director
Md. Ashraful Alam is a seasoned business leader with over 15 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, governance, and executive management. As the Managing Director of Emerald Oil Industries Ltd., he combines strong financial expertise with strategic insight into the Rice Bran Oil industry, driving operational excellence, sustainable growth, and market expansion for the company’s flagship brand, “Spondon.” Previously, he served as Group CFO of Minori Bangladesh Ltd. and CFO of Emerald Oil Industries Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in financial transformation, process automation, business restructuring, and regulatory compliance. His professional experience includes extensive engagement with key regulatory and capital market authorities, including BSEC, DSE, CSE, and NBR. Mr. Ashraful Alam holds an LL.B, an MBA in Finance, and an MBS in Accounting. He is also a certified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP), VAT Consultant, and part-qualified CA professional. Under his leadership, Emerald Oil Industries Ltd. remains focused on sustainable business expansion, innovation, operational efficiency, and strengthening corporate transparency and governance.
